Project Name : Kothalo

This documentary-style film was made in collaboration with researcher, Manasee Jog, as part of her PhD thesis project. It explores the beauty and struggles of the Rabari community of weavers from the Kutch.
This film has been commissioned by Manasee Jog as part of her PhD at RMIT university, Melbourne, Australia. It introduces a collaborative exercise, the Kothalo project. This project forms an integral part of Manasee's research, which investigates her own creative practice through the lens of auto-ethnography, craft and collaboration. All rights to the film are with Manasee Jog + RMIT university.
