Designation : Film Maker

Location : Bangalore

You will be a core member of Verve Media’s film team, working across research, writing, project coordination, and film production. The role requires strong communication and organisational skills, along with close coordination with internal teams, clients, and vendors, and travel to locations across the country. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, and navigating a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

About Us:

Verve Media is a digital marketing agency and company that produces films, websites, apps, social media content and graphic designs for communication and branding. We have over a hundred and fifty clients ranging from NGOs to corporates and government institutions. We create documentaries, corporate videos, brand films, motion graphics, advertisements and testimonials on various topics such as agriculture, health, education, women’s and children’s rights and development. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

1. Research, RFPs & Writing (35%) 

  • Identify, track, and source relevant RFPs, grants and film opportunities. ? Take complete ownership of proposal development and submission. ? Contribute to scripts and other written project material as required.

2. Shoot & Team Coordination + Project Management (35%) 

  • Handle local logistics such as bookings, equipment rentals, permissions and on-ground requirements. 
  • Manage client communication for assigned projects. 
  • Support budget planning and tracking for film projects. 

3. Reporting & Documentation(10%) 

  • Maintain clear documentation, timelines and updates for all teams. 

4. Editing & Post-production Support (20%) 

  • Translate creative concepts into visually compelling films. 
  • Edit video content, incorporating graphics, music and sound effects. 

Job Requirement: 

  • 0-2 years of experience in Filmmaking/Communication. 
  • Openness to travel across the country, often to remote and rural locations. ? Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. ? Knowledge of other Indian languages is a bonus. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. ? Basic understanding of cameras, sound and video editing software(s) is a bonus.
