About the Role

As a WordPress Developer, you will take ownership of designing, building, and maintaining websites using WordPress. You’ll work on theme customization, plugin integration, responsive design implementation, and ongoing site improvements. A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX principles is essential for creating seamless digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and custom code when necessary.
• Implement responsive design best practices to ensure sites work smoothly across devices.
• Collaborate with designers and content creators to bring website concepts to life.
• Troubleshoot website issues and bugs, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
• Conduct regular website maintenance, updates, backups, and optimizations
• Customize themes to meet specific client branding and layout requirements.
• Ensure websites follow UI/UX principles and web accessibility guidelines.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and security best practices
• Optimize website speed, SEO structure, and overall site health.
• Work independently or within a team to meet project deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in WordPress development, preferably in an agency or freelance setting.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, including themes, plugins, and customizations.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of web design principles, responsive design, and UI/UX fundamentals.
• Experience in website maintenance, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with tools like Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
